So I've been lurking around the forums for awhile reading through the numerous threads and making a few noob posts of my own to get information on the Saturn Sky. Well I finally took the plunge and bought a Redline and I love it! Here's some pics I took. Sorry for the quality, I took them on my phone. On a side note, does any vendor or forum member sale the painted stubby antennas? I was wanting to replace my radio antenna but I really wanted one painted to match the color of my car.Coilover suspension?
Just wondering if anyone has got a set of coilovers installed. Would say that the Sky/Opel GT handles quite alright until I got the BSR tune installed - just don't get the full power to the ground at the same time as the handling can feel a bit shaky when pressing the pedal to the metal. Not sure if anyone else have experienced this but I do wonder what additional benefits could be expected from a new set of coilovers e.g. KW v3?Future SKY
Spoke to a GM person this wekend, got talking about our SKY and he says "you know they are coming out with a V-6 soon and have even talked about a small block V-8 in 2012" Is this guy blowing smoke or is there something we don't know yet? I hate rumors ..... you know, like a GM ECU retune to 290hp ? :lol:e-sarge's Page

Ordered my Opel GT Antenna
OK, I'm finally doing something about the 'bumper car' stock antenna. After doing some research on SkyRoadster forum I decided that the Opel GT antenna (GM part 25805645) was the choice for me, and needed to find a source. Mecca II was a Hit!
Just got back home late Sunday (as some may know, we had a detour via OBX for a week after the event). We're unpacked, but haven't had time to wash the car or other important stuff yet. I have to say that the event was a big success in my opinion. The plant personnel put on a great event. The "loot bags" were really above-and-beyond my expectations, and I was pleasantly surprised by the team in the TLC tent, despite the bad weather. Wilmington or Bust!
Woo Hoo! The day has finally come when we hit the road for Wilmington for the Mecca II factory tour. The weather is getting me down a bit (probably not much top-down driving), but I'm really pumped about meeting the other folks from the Sky Roadsters and Pontiac Solstice forums. And the tour of the factory is going to be awesome! I'll post a review and hopefully I'll remember to take some pics (usually I forget all about the camera when I'm enjoying myself).

I customized my Splash Guards
I've been meaning to post this somewhere for a while (I installed these before last fall). I found that the GM splash guards (ordered through the Saturn dealer) look nice but aren't very effective, so I decided to try a simple modification to use them as the backers for some more traditional mud flaps.
